Heritage Optics – 1-Year Limited Craftsmanship Warranty

Effective Date: [05-OCT-2025]

Thank you for choosing Heritage Optics. We stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of our products. All Heritage Optics products are covered under a 1-Year Limited Craftsmanship Warranty from the original date of purchase.

  

What This Warranty Covers

This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of one (1) year from the original purchase date.

Examples of issues covered:

  • Manufacturing      defects
  • Assembly      flaws
  • Non-functionality      due to craftsmanship errors

  

What This Warranty Does NOT Cover

This warranty does not cover damage caused by:

  • Accidents, misuse, or abuse
  • Unauthorized repairs or modifications
  • Cosmetic wear and tear (scratches, dents, discoloration)
  • Environmental damage (e.g., water, heat, dust)
  • Use that is inconsistent with product instructions or intended purpose

  

Unauthorized Repairs Void This Warranty

Any attempted repairs, alterations, or modifications performed by unauthorized technicians—including any technician not approved or certified by Heritage Optics—will immediately void this warranty.

Additionally, if a repair request is evaluated and refused by our authorized scope technicians for any reason, the warranty is considered null and void from that point forward.

  

How to Submit a Warranty Claim

To submit a warranty claim, please provide:

  • Proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation)
  • Product serial number (if applicable)
  • Detailed description of the issue
  • Photographs (if available)

Once your claim is received and evaluated, we may:

  • Repair the product at no cost
  • Replace the product with a new or refurbished unit
  • Offer an alternative solution at our discretion

The customer is responsible for shipping the product to our service center. Heritage Optics will cover return shipping on approved warranty repairs or replacements.

  

Limitations of Liability

This warranty is limited to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. Heritage Optics shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the product.

Return and Refund Policy

  

Heritage Optics – Refund & Return Policy

At Heritage Optics, customer satisfaction is a top priority for us. Please review our Refund and Return Policy carefully before making a purchase. By purchasing from Heritage Optics, you agree to the terms outlined below.

  

General Return Eligibility

We accept returns on select items within 30 days of the original purchase date, provided they meet the specific conditions listed below.

To initiate a return, please contact us at [heritageopticsrepairs@outlook.com]with your order number and reason for return. Returns sent without prior authorization may not be accepted.

  

1. Repairs – All Sales Final / No Refunds

  • All repair services are not subject to refund.
  • Completion of repairs is not guaranteed, and even if repairs are deemed unserviceable, refunds will not be issued.
  • Repair evaluations and outcomes are handled on a case-by-case basis, and final decisions are made at our sole discretion.

  

2. Apparel Returns

  • Apparel may be returned only if it is unworn, unwashed, and in like-new condition, with all original tags and packaging intact.
  • Any signs of wear, damage, or alteration will void eligibility for return.
  • Approved returns are eligible for a refund, exchange, or store credit at our discretion.

  

3. Scopes and Optics Returns

  • Scopes and optical products must be returned in their original scope packaging, including all manuals, accessories, and protective materials.
  • Products returned in damaged, incomplete, or aftermarket packaging will not be accepted.
  • Returns are inspected upon arrival and may be denied if the product shows signs of use or tampering.

  

4. Firearms – All Sales Final

All firearm sales are final.
No returns, exchanges, or refunds will be accepted on any firearm purchases, in accordance with federal and local regulations.

  

5. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or refund under any circumstances:

  • Customized or special-order products
  • Gift cards
  • Sale or clearance items
  • Opened cleaning kits, lens cloths, or accessories
  • Any item not in its original, resalable condition

  

6. Refund Process (When Applicable)

  • Approved refunds will be issued to the original form of payment.
  • Please allow 5–10 business days for your refund to appear, depending on your payment provider.
  • Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error      (e.g., wrong item sent).

  

7. Return Shipping

  • Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping, unless otherwise specified.
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping method and retaining proof of postage.
  • Heritage Optics is not responsible for lost or damaged return shipments.
