The original Redfield Scopes, made in Denver, Colorado, did have a lifetime warranty. However, Redfield, sold their name and trademark when this occurred the lifetime warranty is now void. The USA-made scopes are serviceable, and Heritage Optics can repair and service these scopes, but charges for doing so.
We request that you do not send the original scope box, or any type of box that you would want returned. We discard ALL boxes that are received. You will not get your original box returned to you.
No, all scopes are placed into the production queue, as they are received. If a customer is sending multiple scopes, 3 or more, we will expedite 1 out of the 3, to limit shipping cost. When multiple scopes are sent they will be returned when work is completed on both scopes.
Yes, a scope that is serviced, repaired, of refurbished, will need to be re-zeroed. When Heritage Optics services a scope, the scope is returned to its factory/mechanical zero. We will also provide remounting instructions by request if help is needed. If you are local to the Tulsa area we are happy to assist you with mounting in store at no charge.
Once a scope has passed inspection and is packaged for shipping. Heritage Optics contacts our customers to communicate their scope is shipping and to verify the shipping address. We do not ship, unless we make contact with our customer.
